I bought a Halo Capsule Original from Amazon in May 2024. It’s now December 2024, and I think it’s absolutely great. I have no idea why on Amazon the average review is only about 3/5 stars (at the time of writing this) - and my window of opportunity for leaving a review there seems to have passed. I live in a 1-bed flat, which is mostly carpeted except the kitchen and bathroom, and I wanted a compact, cordless and BAGGED vacuum cleaner that I could use daily. I had tried using one of those D**** brand bagless ones, but when it comes to emptying the D**** brand, they are very difficult to empty without dust flying everywhere, which is not great if you live in a flat. My Halo Capsule holds its charge very well - I mostly use it on the medium suction setting, and so far have not had to stop and re-charge when doing a quick vacuum of the whole flat. The suction on carpet is VERY good - on a par, or maybe even better than, my SEBO corded pull-along vacuum (which I still keep and use for deep cleaning rooms, reaching high spots on top of furniture etc). On tiles, my Halo Capsule also seems to have good suction, and I use it in place of a broom / dustpan and brush on the kitchen and bathroom floor tiles (I make sure the floor is dry first). As a handheld, I would say that if someone has arthritis in hands they might find slightly heavy, but I find it OK. I am guessing that a more robust motor etc makes it slightly heavier. I prop mine against the wall in a corner to store - it doesn’t stand upright by itself, and eventually I will probably fix the Wall Dock accessory to the wall & use that, once I’ve decided on the best place to keep it. My Halo Capsule was not manufactured in the UK, which is a shame, but I do think the quality is very good. I have heard from a vacuum cleaner mechanic that the quality of D***** brand of vacuums worsened significantly when they started making them outside the UK. So I do hope that the Halo company keeps a sharp eye on the standards of its manufacturing processes, and goes from strength to strength (I don’t want to run out of vacuum cleaner bags!!).

It does a good job of vaccuming. The 2nd battery is very helpful to finish the job. But I have some picky issues. There is nowhere to put 2md battery whilst charging. The wall mount has holders for the tools but it's a jigsaw puzzle. The cleaning head could be wider.

Great vacuum. Had one for years and recently bought two new ones, one for us and one as a present. Powerful, very light, and manageable. The detachable dustbins are incredibly useful as they keep the dirt away. No need to clean anything. The newer version also includes new efficient filters. I cannot recommend this brand more…they also have an excellent customer service.
Easy to fit. Last longer than I expected. Good to have a oack of spares to hand.
As usual with this sort of appliance, the attachments are very difficult to get off and on.
This is our second purchase of a Capsule. We like the new design and the new accessories. The hard floor attachment is great. Works well on stair but could do with a better attachment. Overall, better power and capacity which is fantastic.
Halo Capsule X, very light and so easy to use. I chose this cordless vacuum cleaner because it uses a bag and utilises HEPA filter technology. I have previously used bagless vacuum cleaners and often found that they leaked fine particles of dust into the room I was vacuuming or covered me in dust when emptying not so with the Halo Capsule X simply remove the bag dispose replace the bag and on you go, the bags last for ages anyway. Did I mention how powerful the Capsule X is, it has three settings and they all feel strong and pick up almost anything, it's so easy on the stairs and it practically has a gadget for any eventuality, definitely recommend it 😁

Fabulous Fabulous. Don’t hesitate to use this company and buy their capsule. I’m not normally a review writer but feel I must comment positively on this company. I can not compliment the customer service team enough. I emailed the company last May when my Halo battery failed. I was offered a replacement battery under warranty. I appreciate how difficult this has been to source, a National issue of supply and demand, not unique to Halo.I have been updated regularly on position and a HUGE reduction was offered to purchase their new model which has a different battery unit to Halo Capsule!.I have received the new capsule and am delighted with product, far superior to any other cordless I have ever used. The hard floor roller is wonderful, no more scratching!! I will be notified when a replacement battery will become available and probably gift the old cordless to one of my children. Their products I deem wonderful. Their customer team are efficient and polite and indeed a credit to the company.
So sorry ! My new puppy chewed charger cord.Still haven't received the replacement it's going on for 4 weeks now, re the strike!!
Perhaps you should ask me again when I actually receive the dust pouches I am still waiting for them to arrive it's been more than a month since I ordered them I have received a five pounds refund because I have waited a long time but they have not arrived yet
Due to Royal Mail strikes, i received the items ordered with few weeks of delays. Hallo refunded me fully although I eventually received my order.
A very cleverly designed vacuum incorporating high tech wizardry to a domestic product. Like anything man has made it’s always open to refinements as time goes buy. Unfortunately ours has broken for the very simple reason a replacement bag was not seated perfectly when the hinged opening was secured with the small clasp. Pressing the clasp shut broke then the clip on the suction side of the appliance. Owners are advised to be extra vigilant to prevent a repetition of our mistake. The clasp could with hindsight be modified to give greater strength and the bag seating adapted to ensure correct placement. Meanwhile our model now languishes in the cupboard under the stairs wishing for a Halo to make it better.
Yes. I am pleased with my Halo purchase. I can now manage to use the machine as it's so much lighter than my other one. My only regret is that I didn't purchase a machine that does not need a bag but at the time I didn't realise that such a thing existed. My cleaning lady loves it.

Light versatile and effective. Doesn't take up much room.
We also find it heavy and top heavy , it does a super job on the eco setting last a full clean, the only question i ask and are still waiting an answer is the bag supplied with the machine is different to the ones supplied, its smaller for one thing , still waiting an answer from customer service

I honestly love this vacuum cleaner. And I know how sad that sounds. I personally hate cleaning, but this makes it so much easier. It is lightweight, easy to move, able to get into corners, picks up all the small stuff as well as the big stuff, has a great battery, and is so easy to clean-the actual rotating brush can be removed and hair etc cut off of it. It's honestly amazing.
Very pleased with it so far but it is too early to judge properly so not prepared to give it 5 stars.

I haven't used the Capsule apart from the nozzle so far. The handle isn't well designed for comfort. The attachments are hard to take off. This is the same problem with the G-Tech hand-held vacuum: plastic on plastic without a screw-in feature.
Great Hoover. Better than Dyson as stays on but not so easy to change the tools.....

I searched and read countless reviews even friends had different suggestions on which was the best cordless and after my Dyson V8 lasting just over 3 years I didn’t want to make another wasted costly purchase. I am so glad I brought the Halo it’s just fabulous for the price it’s easy to use super light and my carpets look fab. Love that you have a setting for hardwood floors etc. Delivery was quick & set up really easy.
Nice and light, cleans pet hair well. Great on carpets and hard floors alike. Never thought I would go back to bags but love they are compostable and the large capacity of the vacuum. We are really pleased with it!
I saw the advert not long after my Dyson handheld broke .I read the sales pitch and thought why not , it arrived with enough charge to use straight out of the box . A years supply of vac bags and a couple of needy tools is all that you need . Easy to use and not that heavy when used as a hand held only . The handle can rub if you have a large grip as the handle isn’t the most ergonomic . Would recommend as an equal if not better alternative to other high priced hoovers .
